REMOTE PHOTO ORGANIZING
Do you have have photos spread across multiple devices?
Do you have a hard time locating an image when you want to?
Do you want to make sure your photos are safely backed up online in the event a device is lost or crashes?
Would you like to share and enjoy your photos more easily from one common location?
As a professional photographer who knows firsthand how important sorting, culling and organizing my own (often enormous) collections of photos are, I am well suited to help others organize and backup their photos so they are safe and accessible well into the future. Now is the ideal time to start the project of protecting your important memories.
I offer a number of remote services to help you with this sometimes daunting but very important task that will benefit you and your loved ones for years to come, all from the safety of your home.
There are a variety of services I offer based on your individual needs:
Quick professional service. Erika had already thought about all the issues to think about ex. vacation album? Deleting duplicates etc. She acted very professionally and made the whole process (which I was dreading) smooth and easy...even fun!
We are so grateful to Erika for helping us get our photos in order. They were everywhere and she was able to work with us remotely to access the files, eliminate duplicates and create a beautifully organized photo storage solution. She was extremely professional and respectful at every step of the way and had great ideas about photo storage options and projects that suited our family. Thanks so much!
Looking at old photos and deleting things can be painfully overwhelming. This service allowed me to complete a project I had been putting off for years. My favorite aspects of the service were the fact that Erika took the time to delete duplicate photos. It was also great to have hard copies of things scanned and have everything in one place. I'm really looking forward to going through these.
Most importantly Erika is a trustworthy person who anyone and everyone can feel comfortable sharing their intimate photos with. Giving someone access to your entire photo library takes a lot of trust but I guarantee you Erika is a person who is worthy of that trust.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
I have hourly rates on a tiered system so that you pay less per hour if the job runs longer. Everyone's situation is 100% unique and it is very difficult if not impossible to give an accurate estimate until I have your files and can take a look.
What I can say is that I work quickly with a combination of software that helps flag exact duplicates, and personal review of data for more nuanced sorting
I recommend we set check-ins every set number of hours so that I can keep you appraised of my progress and how long it has been. That way you can have a sense of how long it is taking and adjust the task as we go, as needed.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
After you fill out the Getting Started Survey, we will schedule a complimentary 30 minute consultation to discuss your present situation and how your customized photo organizing process might look. I ask for a deposit to secure the first 5 hours of organizing and we make a game plan to move forward. I may need to guide you through installing a program that will allow me remotely access your computer to transfer your image files; to drop off your printed photos; or to grant me access to your cloud photo storage. As I delve deeper into your photo libraries, we will continue to communicate about timelines and outcomes.
WILL I NEED TO GIVE YOU MY PASSWORDS?
If you have photos stored on certain cloud based storage systems, such as iPhoto or Google photos, I will need your passwords to access them. I recommend setting up a temporary password so when I access your images. There is definitely an element of trust involved when sharing passwords with anyone and that is why it is very important that you feel like we are a good fit for working together.
WHAT IF I HAVE INTIMATE OR PRIVATE PHOTOS?
It should be acknowledged that your personal photos can be, well... quite personal. Many people have photos that are very intimate or embarrassing on their phones. I have several years of professional experience photographing sensitive and intimate subject matter for a variety of clients and am well equipped to handle your images in a confidential and respectful manner.
If have any specific questions or concerns on this subject, please do not hesitate to voice them.
