A long life

As some surely know, ever since I moved to NYC over 8 years ago, I worked part time as a caregiver for an elderly lady who is now 92 years old. Julia is her name. I started this portrait of her a few years ago. It is a portrait of Julia that uses not only the photograph which I took of her, but every photo she appears in from various times of her life. From her childhood, to her children's childhoods, from her wedding to her vacations as a retiree. I still don't feel sure this piece is finished, however, since things with Julia's care and needs have been changing recently, I was reminded of this work and wanted to revisit and share it.
