The focus of this project was to document the making of an album in the recording studio. The fun, the work, the hang...everything. I travelled with the band and stayed two days with them in the studio. I was in the room quietly photographing (with my shoes off and silent shutter) while they were recording, in the control room while they were listening.
In addition to documenting the process, part of my task was to make a full band portraits as well as some gritty BW images of each musician with motion blur.
