Late last year I had the treat of working with Tobagonian musician Akili. We had a simple session right along the Hudson river.
I was thrilled that he reached back out to me to make these in studio images earlier this year for his upcoming singles and album release.
The idea behind many of these photos was being beholden, held, and restrained by the creative force. The darker side of creativity and the creative muse. But we also made some images for his single "I so blue" among others.
